  1. Hi Jonne,

Thanks for the kind words. I have linked to you also. I agree – The sigma DP Merrill 1 & 2 compacts and a complete joy to use. I’ve enjoyed reading your blog, Cheers, Chris.

    1. It will be interesting to see how you react: I loved the X-Pro – but I sold mine and a number of Zeiss and Voigtlander lenses as well as the Fujinon 35mm, 18mm and 60mm, (and my D700!) – the DP2 is everything I ever wanted for the pictures I hope to make (Except perhaps the same images coming out of a camera the size and quality of the Ricoh GRD III / IV which would truly be nirvana.) I hope you enjoy your DP2 as uch as I do.

The only problem I’ve found is the slightly painful workflow having to use Sigma PhotoPro to produce big Tiff files beofre filing and post processing in Lightroom – I wish Lightroom supported the X3F format. Maybe oneday?

Please email me if you would like to display your images on mono-culture – you would be very welcome indeed! I enjoy the light, natural touch you have. Have fun!, and thanks for your comments,

      Chris.
