Christmas

Test post from Blogsy

Just a quick test using Blogsy for iPad to write a blog post here. This app seems to have very nice formatting tools and nice handy link to my Flickr account to attach photos here. Let’s try to include one Christmas shot here:

We had a great Christmas Eve

Santa Claus came of course and the boys very very excited. Everyone had so nice time and also the presents were great!

“Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people”

Kaapo and other children from his kids’ club played the Christmas gospel in their Christmas party. Kaapo is the shepherd in the right side of the above photo. I especially love his expression; he really seems to be afraid of angels.

They performed also singing there and the party was a really nice and cosy happening.

Investigating the gingerbread house

The boys were very keen to explore this year’s gingerbread house model. My wife succeeded this year much better than year ago in building the house. Much less difficulties and it really looks like much better. Next year she will almost be a pro!

Christmas season has been officially started!

Number one has been opened!, originally uploaded by Jonne Naarala.

Our sons, Kaapo and Tiitus, opened the first door in their Christmas calendars yesterday. They have been waiting this for over a week and were very keen to start this every year tradition. They both have Moomin chocolate calendars. If you do not know Moomin characters, you can find some information here.

Singing Christmas carols at Kumpunen school

Nice occasion arranged every year near Christmas. Singing, coffee, Christmas tarts, gingerbread cookies, and good company. These kind of traditions are great to have. Simple but beautiful. Not any fancy surroundings but people having fun together.
