Now that temperature is decreasing and light diminishing, I really miss summer and especially the sauna at our summer cottage. Last summer was the first one at our very own summer cottage, and that made it somehow special. Next summer, please, come soon! But it is great that we have sauna in our home too…
During the whole November we saw sunshine 12 minutes. If you divide it evenly, it makes 24 seconds per day.
P.S. My new Ricoh GR will arrive today. The above shot was taken with my earlier GR.
I was going through old (from summer 2013) Ricoh GR shots and this was one which got my attention. This shot makes me longing the GR because of the shallow DoF and high amount of details.
I just love that the fields are soon going to be golden because all the crop will ripen.
Long time no post. Again. Well, sometimes too busy for all stuff in life but I have not forgot my blog. I have lately used my fantastic Leica Digilux 2 quite much. I really love its output. It has a great 28-90 mm equivalent lens and images acquired with it certainly have some magic. The only downside is that you can not crop 5 MPix shot that much. This can also be a good thing because you have to think your composition more carefully beforehand.
Here are the beautiful clouds at summer cottage captured with Leica Digilux 2.
P.S. It is not a B&W shot.
We have had very summerish weather and temperature for about a week now. It is so wonderful to have some warmness and lots of light after a long winter.
This shot was taken with Asahi Pentax Super-Takumar 55mm F1.8 lens at F16. I think the lens performs nicely for a lens from 1960’s.
I’ve gone through my photo archives again. There are actually quite many interesting shots that I’ve neglected in the first round. I’ve tested B&W conversion for many shots using VSCO Film presets in Lightroom. Quite refreshing approach actually! I also processed quite many using VSCO color presets like Fuji 160 C which seems to be my favorite at the moment. It seems to be so that some shots need to be archived to be found again.
One of the first X-Pro1 shots from May. XF 35mm F1.4 R lens.
A stone duck shot at summer cottage. XF 60mm F2.4 R Macro lens.
SP. XF 60mm F2.4 R Macro lens. VSCO Film Fuji Neopan 1600 preset. Love that grain!
I just got a Fotodiox EOS-FX adapter to test my Voigtländer 90mm F3.5 SL II lens with my X-Pro1. I will soon post some photos taken with that combination and I will add some comments on it too.
Mölkky is a nice Finnish summer game. We play it at our summer cottages every summer. It is suitable for quite small children too, so, the whole family plus relatives and friends can play it together.
You can find more info about Mölkky here.
