My kind of shot. I really love the landscape in the bokeh. It frees your thoughts.

Somber woods

It was a very dull weather yesterday and I went shooting in our yard. I looked in the forest at our backyard and took few shots of the woods. Even if the forest looks very gloomy, I like the result what I got. The photo delivers exactly the feeling I was having at that very moment. And actually those tree trunks are very beautiful if you just want to see their beauty.

Our place in winter sun

This winter has been very snowy and lately also very cold one. Snow everywhere plus -37 C is a cool combo. Well, actually we are very much used to this kind of a weather but because our winter lasts almost six months you have to complain at least littlebit in some point. 😉

Our son Kaapo is here looking at a snow field when we are about to start our nice hike in the woods in late January. It was a very pleasant trek with our sons, Kaapo and Tiitus. The weather was so beautiful with great sunshine.

Poor barn has almost collapsed

I have photographed this barn every winter we have lived in our present house (from 2006) and every year it is bending down more and more. I think the next winter could be its last one which is a real pity because there are not so many barns left in our area.

Winter sun

So beautiful sunshine but not warming much yet, Days and nights have been very cold lately. We had even -32 degrees Celsius last Friday. Hopefully sunshine will have some warming rays in a month or so.

Ten years together

Jenni and I have known each other ten years today. We decided to buy a “new” car for Jenni because she will go to work in the coming autumn and we thought that a better and safer car would be nice.

I really love tulips! Especially now when the hardest winter is still here. They bring freshness, beauty, and joy.
