Almost 100% crop

The shot below is an almost 100% crop from a portrait oriented photo shot with a Fuji X100. That camera has a 12 MPix sensor and I think this shot nicely shows that the resolution is really fantastic (even if it has quite moderate MPix if compared to present standards) and it is possible to crop a lot. Sometimes it is very refreshing to test different crops and learn that way also a lot of compositional matters.

  1. I have to admit I am continually impressed with the quality of images and the dedicated fan base of the Fuji systems. I loved my Fuji PS from years ago, and I may consider that system soon. I bought Liz a Canon SLR a few months ago, she is more into the portrait side of things, and getting quite good. I was thinking of a mirrorless option, I like a few of those systems, but the Fuji is a top 5 finisher for me.
